My name is Jackie, Jax for short. I have a love for old houses and I have been in the Real Estate business for quite some time. My love to Restore and Renovate old houses came from my parents. I remember driving with them and looking at houses as a kid/ know it all teen and being able to see the transformation of these properties as they were able to renovate them. I can still remember some of the first houses we drove by and talked about together. Today we still hold that same interest. We talk on the daily about our current projects or which house we would love to see restored. Now my kids drive with me and point out what they love about these old houses or how we can fix them if we buy it. Well, most of the time they are just asking for snacks and when we are going house hunting but, when they do see a really cool one they are very excited. 🙃 The old character that these houses have are priceless. When I see an old abandoned house or building I see the beauty of what it used to be. The history each place has, and the memories that were made deserve to be remembered. I would love for you to join me on this journey of the beauty of what use to be

Meant to Be

I wrote this when I made an offer my first offer on this home. Unfortunately someone else was able to get the contract with a different offer. But my heart is happy that soon it will be restored. **Update** My realtor called and said the contract fell through. So I made another offer **Update** They Went with another offer (sad face) **Update** Offer Fell through - We put in another offer. Lets see what happens

Beauty behind the home

We made a third offer and now the house is under CONTRACT!! My heart beats to know the history of this 1930 home. So many memories from previous families. My heart beats happily knowing that I get to restore her back to her original beauty. The beauty behind the home sits within these walls, although it may be dirty and old there is still so much to see beneath it all. The beauty in her will once again shine bright. Once again a family will make memories within these walls. Once again she will shelter a family who admire the beauty behind within this home. If you have known me for a while or have just met me you immediately know I love what I do. My love for pre 1960 homes runs deep within my veins. The joy I get every time I bring life to these beautiful homes in my community. I not only love bringing these houses back to life but I love that people in my community can make memories with their loved ones as well. The joy I get every time I see an old house never gets old. I’m sure it get annoying to some when I want to pull over everything I see a house or circle around to see it again.

Now and then: My real estate story

Well to tell you the truth I didn’t always like Real Estate. It has grown on me over the last several years. I like different aspects of the RE game. With first loving property management, then looking for houses for other investors to buy. I made a quick buck and was on to the next. Then I started looking into the construction side of things and getting my hands dirty. I got over that pretty quick (the first Texas summer) is all that took. But I still enjoyed the work. I took a break for a while, a long while. Then when I was pregnant with my second child I started back up again. I bought my first house in Seguin on my own and started the rehab, and when I say “started the rehab” I mean my husband did most of the work. That’s how it normally happens, I think of a time consuming project and he does it. Ok ladies, when looking for a husband make sure he’s handy and all your dream projects come true and you rarely do most of them. Let’s get back in track. So we finished that rehab, and went on to the next. The next several projects I really started to get into the design aspect of it, which I never liked because I really didn’t know what I was doing. Like most things you’ve never done there’s fear and doubt. But, once I kinda got a feel for what I really liked it all came together at the end. I did tons of research of colors, spent hours upon hours on the Internet looking at different designs. Which was fine because I’m up all hours of the night with a hungry new born anyway. I might as well do something productive. I love seeing the transformation on these old houses. It reminds me of Jesus, we come to him old, broken down, dirty, and he cleans us up, fixes us, and makes us new. I realized this one day at the end of on of our rehabs while I was cleaning windows. As I continue this journey I get more excited on what I’m going to learn on the next house. I now enjoy helping people decorate, and design their new spaces on their new projects. Now being in the flipping business and buying houses for cash is something I absolutely love doing. I love buying houses in Seguin. Regardless of age, condition, or situation we will give a no-obligation cash offer on homes. You can call us or visit us @ I love the city that we live and work in. A great community, with lovely people. Knowing that we are doing wonderful upgrades to our city is just one thing that I love. Our goal is to help those wanting to sell the unconventional way because of the condition of their house or they just want to sell fast. Our passion is to create a home for those who buy our rehabbed houses. From buying to selling the house, we put in so much love, small details, and definitely sweat into each house.
